Job Title: Commissioning Operation Superintendent

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Verify that pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up requirements are accounted for in engineering documents
  • Prepare and keep up-to-date pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and test run execution plans (including the mobilization of personnel)
  • Review all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and handing over procedures as well as supervise the preparation of additional procedures when required
  • Review the Licensors / Vendors schedule and assignment, concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and test run activities
  • Supervise the preparation of the integrated pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start up and test run Schedule.
  • Run utility equipment as needed for Commissioning purpose
  • Assist the Commissioning Manager in the plant hand over activities
  • Monitor the use and availability of commissioning spare parts and consumables

Qualification and Experience

  • A Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or its equivalent with 13 years’ relevant experience in the energy sector.

 

Job Title: Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up Lead

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Review contractual documentation on commissioning
  • Lead in Project planning and scheduling of commissioning activities.
  • Supervise the preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handing over procedures
  • Review test run (performance test) procedures and operating manuals prepared by the Project Process Leaders.
  • Assist in the procurement of services for commissioning activities
  • Identify project requirements and constraints and participates in ROKM sessions relating to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities
  • Supervise the preparation of the integrated pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start up and test run Schedule
  • Support HSE Manager in HSE plan preparation for commissioning activities. Participate in HAZOP review meeting
  • Define commissioning Systems and hand over priorities
  • Define and review the commissioning spare parts and consumables

Qualification and Experience

  • A Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or its equivalent with 13 years’ relevant experience in the energy sector.

 

Job Title: Civil & Structural Superintendent

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Ensure civil works package implementation
  • Assist subcontractors or direct hires the interpretation of drawings as well as providing support in the resolution of technical problems.
  • Verify and confirm drawings and materials availability for efficient execution of the works
  • Ensure the fulfillment of project quality and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure the supervision and monitoring of works performed directly or subcontracted
  • Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus.
  • Plan and monitor vendors or any specialists’ activities at site
  • Manage technical and administrative documentation of civil activities.

Job Title: Automation Specialist

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Prepare technical documentation for control Systems and Telecommunication material and services requisitions.
  • Implement Controls of Safety and Telecommunication Systems
  • Prepare Telecommunication systems functional specifications
  • Prepare Telecommunication equipment data sheets
  • Prepare Control and Safety Systems supply specifications
  • Prepare Advanced Control, Dynamic Simulation and Operator Training Simulator functional and supply specifications
  • Validate Vendor Control and Safety Systems functional design specifications and participate in detail configuration documents definition
  • Validate Vendor Control Systems and Telecommunication BOQs
  • Coordinate detail engineering activities and ensure proper installation drawings definition
  • Participate in F.A.T. activities and Vendor workshop
  • Participate in Site Acceptance Test, loop checks and functional checks
  • Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team
  • Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or its equivalent with 8 years relevant experience in the energy sector.

 

Job Title: Mechanical Works Superintendent

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Organize, coordinate and control the execution of Mechanical works, performed by subcontractors or direct labor, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments
  • Manage multidisciplinary interfaces, preventing and resolving interferences and clashes
  • Provide construction team and subcontractors with the guidelines for the execution of works and monitor the adequacy of manpower and equipment to execute construction activities.
  • Ensure the achievement of established construction milestones, including mechanical completion objectives.

Qualification and Experience

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum of 13 years’ relevant experience in the Energy Sector.

Job Title: Instrumentation Superintendent

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Ensure that completion activities relating to Instrumentation and Telecommunication works are carried out properly ensuring discipline work-flow as well as interfacing with the project organization and clients –
  • Coordinate Instrumentation activities to ensure cost effective performance
  • Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected
  • Ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements
  • Setup time schedule adhering to the time frame allocated to the specific scope of work
  • Supports in the resolution of technical problems encountered during the execution of Instrumentation works

Job Title: Test Pack Coordinator

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Prepare test packs execution schedule in accordance with construction and commissioning requirements
  • Set up tools to control test packs flow to achieve progressive completion of piping system.
  • Interfaces with the construction team (mechanical, welding, instrumentation) and with the engineering and quality site team
  • Steer daily coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal site organization, in order to manage activities schedule and Provide reports on progress of work and statistical data
  • Coordinate walkthroughs in order to finalize the packs and reinstatements, producing quality certificates
  • Manage the test packs flow with the Client
  • Manage punch list close-out with internal organization and Client

Job Title: Project Manager, Integration

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Ensure the implementation of HSE procedures for construction and pre-commissioning of plants
  • Give guidelines for the definition V of construction strategies, such as subcontracting plans, logistic and constructibility studies, during the various stages of the project
  • Review of contractual documents construction and interfacing with other project functions.
  • Lead in defining the overall project planning and scheduling for construction activities, with the support and expertise of construction lead roles.
  • Ensure that the.activities are carried out within planned time and costs,
  • Coordinating and instructing construction team accordingly intervening with corrective actions in case of deviations or difficulties.
  • Analyze all information regarding the ogress of the work, indicating th causes of deviations between the program and the work carried out and propose solutions and/or request instructions to overcome these problems.
  • Ensure the implementation of recovery plans, if needed, including the re-planning of activities and the reassignment of the scope of work to the subcontractors.
  • Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination verifying adequacy and consistency of construction strategies.
  • Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary construction activities and manage activities assigned to subcontractors, providing the guidelines for the execution of the works and monitoring the adequacy of manpower and equipment to deliver on the activity.
  • Manage interface with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability.

Job Title: Welding Superintendent

Reference Code: WSPD-03

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Ensure the fulfillment of project welding requirements (Fabrications band Welding Specifications, WPS, Welding Books, Project procedures, etc.)
  • Coordinate and organize welding activities to ensure cost-effective performance, in accordance with the established operating programs.
  • Coordinating and control the activities performed by the dependent teams of Supervisors, Foremen, Welders, and Welding Operators.
  • Ensure that welding teams (Supervisors, Welders, and Welding Operators) are properly trained and certified for the execution of project before their employment in production and during the life cycle of the project.
  • Ensure proper discipline work-flow while interfacing with the project (office/site/yard) organization and clients.
  • Ensure th supervision and monitoring of Welding Activities performed. Coordinate human and technical resources.
  • Plan and monitor vendors or any specialists activities at site

Qualification and Experience

  • A degree in Fabrication / Mechanical / Welding / Material & Metallurgical Engineering, a minimum of 15 years relevant experience in the Energy sector.
  • Prospective candidate must hold SCWI/CSWIP 3.2

 

Job Title: Material Technology Lead

Reference Code: MTL-3

Location: Any City, Nigeria

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Verify the consistency of the welding, material selection, NDT, coating, cathodic protection and corrosion engineering documents for the project
  • Provides technical support to project in materials and testing management (welding, non-destructive testing, material, coating-1 field joint coating, corrosion, insulation and cathodic protection)
  • Specifies technology developments that can potentially impact project performance and proffers solutions based on new technologies.
  • Interface with various disciplines in areas relating to materials technology to maximize project performance

Qualification and Experience

  • A degree in Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the Energy Sector. Prospective candidate should be an AWS/NACE 3 holder.
